A Swimmer's Guide to Happiness:  swim as well as you can, as often as you can, and in as many places as you can.

Coach Gigi Lawrence

Swimming is a technical and acquired skill and takes time and effort to learn. It is forever rewarding.

Swimming is a unifying and freeing activity that is rewarding in all its forms. It is the only activity by which we can leave the land and move of our own volition.

As a swimmer, I still love to swim laps, to swim in lakes and ponds, to swim in oceans, to swim in backyard pools, to meet other swimmers, and to play with friends of all ages in the water.

For the Love of Swimming is committed to inspiring a universal love of swimming, and also of learning, by encouraging curiosity, demonstrating patience, building confidence, fostering camaraderie, and modeling respect.
